TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for a Mixed Tax Senior to join a fantastic firm of chartered accountants in Rochester, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an experienced, fast-growing tax team in a mixed compliance and advisory capacity with exposure to both corporate and personal tax. Training can be provided, as necessary.

You will have excellent exposure to a range of clients across the Southeast and you will work closely with the Managers and Partners, looking after compliance, and supporting with ad hoc advisory work too. There is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term and progressive career with this market-leading firm of accountants who pride themselves on their great team culture and internal progression prospects. The position will be built around the candidate's experience and aspirations.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, with responsibility for compliance work and identification of tax planning opportunities
  • Dealing with enquiries and assisting staff and Managers
  • Tax advice and tax planning for clients
  • Regular correspondence with clients, HM Revenue & Customs, and third parties as required
  • Supporting the managers and partners to develop and grow the department

Requirements:

  • You will be ATT studying or qualified, and/or ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with at least 3+ years of experience within practice.
  • You will have strong experience in preparing personal tax and corporate tax returns.
  • Advisory experience would be advantageous but not essential.
