Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing firm with a reputation for providing exceptional service to a diverse clientele, including owner-managed businesses, UK businesses with international aspects, high net worth individuals, and trusts. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mixed Tax Consultant to join their dynamic team in Brighton.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a CTA-qualified tax professional with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate will already be working in a mixed tax role, with a solid understanding of both corporate and private client tax elements. You will have the opportunity to build on your existing experience in a varied role that includes compliance, consultancy, and advisory work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert tax advice and support across a diverse client portfolio, including owner-managed businesses, UK businesses with overseas elements, high net worth individuals, and trusts.
  • Manage both corporate and private client tax work, ensuring compliance with all relevant UK tax legislation.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporate entities.
  • Participate in tax planning and advisory projects, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the tax team and other departments to deliver a seamless service to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tax developments and legislation to ensure clients receive accurate and relevant advice.
Requirements Qualifications and Experience:
  • CTA qualified with a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience working in a mixed tax capacity, with a strong understanding of both corporate and private client tax.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical tax advice.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to manage your own workload and work to deadlines.
