This is a remote position. TPF Recruitment is supporting a fantastic independent accountancy practice based in Kent, who is looking for a Remote Practice Bookkeeper to join their team on a remote basis, but you must be based in Kent! This is a really exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, modern and innovative accountancy practice.

Our client is a big advocate for Xero software, and they utilise the latest technologies. They also promote a very positive and approachable working environment which is client focused as well as collaborative and progressive.

As a Remote Practice Bookkeeper for this Kent-based accountancy practice, you will be responsible for providing weekly bookkeeping services for the firm's clients within the construction sector, as well as monthly and quarterly VAT returns.

You will work on a remote basis, but you must be based in Kent, as the team get together every couple of months.

Requirements
  • Be based in Kent
  • Have at least 2 year’s experience in bookkeeping and VAT preparation
  • Be proficient in using Xero, Dext and Excel
  • Have strong communication skills
