This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager looking to join a people focused, growing practice with an outstanding reputation for client service, technical excellence and staff development. As a Corporate Tax Business Manager, you will work with a diverse portfolio of owner managed businesses, entrepreneurial clients, corporate groups and international organisations across a range of sectors. You will play a key role in providing strategic tax advice, overseeing compliance delivery, identifying tax planning opportunities and developing long term client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
- Reviewing complex corporation tax returns and computations
- Delivering advisory projects including restructuring, group planning, transactions and international tax matters
- Supporting Partners on business development initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to add value to clients
- Managing and mentoring junior members of the tax team
- Building strong relationships with clients and professional intermediaries
- Ensuring high quality technical advice and client service delivery
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualification
- Significant experience within corporate tax gained in practice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate taxation
- Experience managing client relationships and portfolios
- Excellent communication and business development skills
- A commercial and proactive approach
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring team members
