Our client is a highly regarded, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Dartford with an excellent reputation for delivering a personal, high quality service to a loyal and varied client base.
Due to continued growth and succession planning, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Manager who is keen to take the next step towards Director level.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of owner managed business clients, acting as their trusted adviser while overseeing the delivery of accounts and tax services.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
- Reviewing statutory accounts prepared by junior team members.
- Reviewing corporate and personal tax compliance work.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, becoming their first point of contact.
- Supporting, mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
- Identifying opportunities to improve client service and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
- Working closely with the Partners, with increasing involvement in strategic and commercial decisions as you progress towards Director level.
Requirements
You'll ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience with previous experience managing a portfolio within an accountancy practice environment.
You'll also have
- Strong accounts and tax review experience.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
- Experience managing and developing staff.
- Commercial awareness and a genuine desire to progress into a leadership position.
- A proactive and positive approach with the ambition to play a key role in the firm's future.
