TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for a Part Time Practice Accountant to join a fantastic, chartered accountancy practice in Canterbury, Kent. This firm is currently experiencing growth and can offer excellent future progression prospects. It will be a hands‑on, client‑facing position, where you can maintain a good work life balance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies
- Prepare and review client tax returns and provide advice
- Proactively liaise with clients directly
- Support trainees and junior staff members
- Assist clients with accounts software and other queries as required
Requirements
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Be IT literate, preferably with knowledge of Iris, and/or Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
- Have excellent communication, listening and problem‑solving skills
- Highly organised and self‑motivated
- Both part time and full time applicants will be considered
Benefits
- £38,000 - £50,000 FTE dependent on experience and background, negotiable

- 25 days annual leave + 8 days for bank holiday
