This is an excellent opportunity for 2024 graduates eager to kickstart their career in Accounting by working with a team of chartered accountants within a practice setting while pursuing their ACCA/ACA qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit Responsibilities:
    • Assisting in the planning and execution of financial audits.
    • Conducting substantive testing and analytical review procedures.
    • Verifying the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
    • Collaborating with audit teams to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
    • Preparing audit documentation and work papers.
  • Accounts Responsibilities:
    • Preparing financial statements for clients, including income statements and balance sheets.
    • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
    • Performing bank reconciliation and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
    • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts.
    • Handling general ledger entries and maintaining financial records.
  • Tax Responsibilities:
    • Supporting the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
    • Assisting in tax planning and compliance activities.
    • Researching tax regulations and staying updated on changes in tax laws.
    • Responding to client queries regarding tax matters.
    • Collaborating with the tax team to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
  • Client Interaction:
    • Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
    • Communicating with clients to gather necessary financial information.
    • Guiding accounting and tax-related matters.
    • Responding to client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitoring changes in accounting and auditing standards.
    • Supporting the implementation of new accounting and tax regulations.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Working collaboratively with other members of the practice.
    • Participating in team meetings and contributing to discussions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree classification in a finance-related discipline (Accounting & Finance, Mathematics, Finance, and Economics).
  • Strong A Level results.
  • A minimum of 5 C's at GCSE.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Benefits:
