TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a fast-growing, reputable construction and property firm based in the Eastleigh area. Our client is known for delivering high-quality developments across Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Due to ongoing expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team.
The role offers flexible working arrangements and can be structured as either full-time or part-time, with a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Carry out day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.
- Process subcontractor payments and apply CIS deductions accurately.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and support the production of management accounts.
- Liaise with project managers to monitor job costs and contribute to accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain well-organised, up-to-date, and audit-ready financial records.
Requirements:
- AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent bookkeeping/accounting qualification.
- At least 5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience, ideally including 2+ years within the construction industry.
- Proficient in Sage accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Salary circa £28,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and qualification status. Part-time or full-time role available (minimum 3 days per week). On-site parking. Supportive and collaborative working culture. Opportunities for further training and development.
