TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for a Part Time Senior Accountant to join an excellent firm of accountants based in Deal, Kent. You will work in a general practice capacity across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT, reporting in to the Partner. This position can be either 3, 4 or 5 days a week.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage using IRIS
- Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
- General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero or Quickbooks
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
Commutable from most towns in East Kent - Dover, Folkestone, Deal, Canterbury, Thanet, Margate, Sandwich, Ramsgate etc.
Requirements:
- You will have 5+ years experience within an accountancy practice.
- You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- You will have hands on experience of accounts, tax and VAT preparation.
Benefits:
- £35,000 - £40,000 FTE, dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
