TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Tax Assistant / Semi Senior to join an excellent accountancy firm based in Rochester. You will work closely with senior staff to deliver a broad range of tax services to a range of owner managed business clients. This role is suitable for someone studying their ATT or CTA, though this is not essential; study support will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • CT600 completion
  • Tax reviewing of accounts files
  • CT61 preparation
  • Group restructures
  • R&D tax claims
  • VAT planning and advice

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a tax focused position, or a mixed accounts and tax background
  • Studying, or keen to study towards AAT, ATT, CTA
  • Previous corporate tax experience gained within UK Accountancy Practice, or ATT/CTA/ACCA or ACA qualified or studying
  • Experience with specific tax software is advantageous
  • Strong corporate awareness and relationship building skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and multitask workload effectively
