TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of a growing and well regarded accountancy practice based in Tunbridge Wells, who are looking to recruit a Client Manager on a part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering high quality work, and working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Working closely with a Senior Client Manager, you will support a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring their accounting, tax and advisory needs are met accurately and on time. The role offers a good balance of hands on technical work and client interaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Reviewing accounts payable and receivable functions
- Payroll preparation and payment processing
- Review and completion of VAT returns
- Bookkeeping duties
- Supporting and guiding junior team members
- Monitoring deadlines and compliance requirements
- Working with colleagues to resolve client queries and identify opportunities for improvement
- Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies
Requirements
You will ideally have:
- AAT Level 4 qualification as a minimum
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or FreeAgent
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
