TPF Recruitment is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior for one of the best accountancy practices in Kent. You will work as part of a large, and well-established firm of chartered accountants, in a mixed position, equally split between audit & accounts. There will be fantastic exposure on offer and a very clear and realistic opportunity to progress in your career. Commutable from Ashford, Faversham, Herne Bay, Whitstable, Canterbury, Dover, Tenterden, Folkestone and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Audit and Accounts Manager, the role will focus mainly on audit and accounts activities.
  • Support a varied portfolio of clients from owner-managed to not-for-profit organisations.
  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the team and client where necessary.
  • Provide accountancy and taxation advice and support to clients as necessary.
  • Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
  • Assist in the management of a team of qualified and part qualified accountants.
  • Mentor colleagues reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
  • Develop and expand the team's skillset through development plans and training and support.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.

Requirements

  • You should be either ACA or ACCA-qualified.
  • It is important that you have experience in FRS102.
  • Currently working in an Audit and Accounts-focused position.
  • A strong communicator who can converse with stakeholders across all levels.
  • A progressive mindset and be willing to improve your career.

Benefits

£45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
