TPF Recruitment is supporting a successful and growing accountancy firm based in Brighton in their search for a Personal Tax Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or part-qualified individuals who are eager to develop their career in tax within a supportive and professional environment.
Role Overview
As a Personal Tax Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience across the personal tax department. You will work closely with tax managers and senior team members, developing valuable skills and knowledge while working towards a formal tax qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of personal tax returns, P11Ds, and the implementation of Making Tax Digital.
- Build and manage a personal tax client portfolio over time, learning from senior mentors.
- Contribute to the team’s objectives of delivering excellent client service and supporting growth.
- Take initiative and responsibility in producing high-quality, accurate work.
Requirements
- Experience in personal or corporate tax, or relevant studies in accounting or finance.
- Strong commitment to a career in tax and willingness to pursue qualifications (e.g., ATT/CTA).
- GCSE Maths and English (grades 9-6) and three A-Levels or equivalent at grade B or above.
- Good communication and IT skills, a proactive mindset, and a strong work ethic.
