Key Responsibilities
- Client Leadership
- Lead a diverse audit portfolio, delivering high quality audit and assurance services to SMEs, owner managed businesses, mid market companies and larger corporate groups.
- Build trusted, long term relationships with clients, acting as a strategic business adviser.
- Ensure exceptional client service while identifying opportunities to deliver additional value across the firm's wider service offering.
- Business Development & Growth
- Drive the continued growth of the audit practice through new business generation and strategic relationship development.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and increase market presence.
- Contribute to the development of the firm's audit offering and long term growth strategy.
- Work collaboratively with Partners across other service lines to maximise client opportunities.
- Leadership & People Development
- Lead, mentor and develop high performing audit teams.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive and commercially focused culture.
- Support succession planning and the development of future leaders within the business.
- Contribute to the wider leadership and strategic direction of the practice.
- Technical Excellence & Quality
- Ensure audit engagements are delivered to the highest professional standards.
- Maintain compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across audit methodology, quality and efficiency.
- Champion best practice and technical excellence throughout the audit team.
Requirements Skills & Experience
- ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Significant post qualification experience within accountancy practice.
- Existing Audit Partner or experienced Audit Director ready to step into Partnership.
- RI status, or working towards Responsible Individual status.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and audit regulations.
- Proven experience managing substantial audit portfolios.
- Strong commercial awareness with a successful track record of business development.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
