Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Taxation Senior to join their friendly, professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-standing and respected practice that delivers high-quality, personalised services to a portfolio of self-employed professionals. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with both clients and colleagues.
The Role
- You’ll take full ownership of your own client portfolio.
- Managing a portfolio of self-employed professionals.
- Preparing Income & Expenditure accounts from varied sources (e.g. salary, rental income).
- Completing personal tax returns and HMRC submissions.
- Carrying out pension tax calculations and advising on pension tax issues (full training provided).
- Delivering ad hoc tax advice when required.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and internal teams.
Requirements What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice is essential.
- A qualification such as ACCA, ACA, ATT, or CTA is desirable (or qualified by experience/time-barred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
