The Role
Working as part of the Private Client Tax team, you will gain exposure to a broad range of work and have the chance to build on your technical expertise. You will manage your own portfolio of clients, working closely with Partners and senior staff, while developing your knowledge in complex tax matters.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long‑standing and respected practice that delivers high‑quality, personalised services to a portfolio of self‑employed professionals. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with both clients and colleagues.
You’ll take full ownership of your own client portfolio. Responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of self‑employed professionals
- Preparing Income & Expenditure accounts from varied sources (e.g., salary, rental income)
- Completing personal tax returns and HMRC submissions
- Carrying out pension tax calculations and advising on pension tax issues (full training provided)
- Delivering ad‑hoc tax advice when required
- Building strong, long‑term relationships with clients and internal teams
Requirements
