TPF Recruitment is working with a highly respected and growing independent accountancy practice to recruit an Audit Senior or Audit Semi Senior for their thriving audit and accounts team. Audit Senior / Audit Semi Senior ResponsibilitiesAs an Audit Senior or Audit Semi Senior, your duties will include:
- Planning and delivering audit assignments for a varied client portfolio
- Leading audit fieldwork both on site and remotely
- Preparing audit files and working papers
- Performing substantive and analytical audit testing
- Identifying audit risks and reporting key findings
- Preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102
- Assisting with audit completion and finalisation
- Reviewing work prepared by junior auditors where appropriate
- Supporting and mentoring trainees and junior team members
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Working closely with Managers and Partners on complex assignments
We're looking for candidates with experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment.
Audit Semi Senior- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified
- Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience working with SME and owner managed business clients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ambition to progress within audit and assurance
- ACA or ACCA qualified, finalist or qualified by experience
- Strong audit and accounts experience within practice
- Experience leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Ability to supervise junior staff and review work
- Excellent client facing and relationship management skills
