Job Description
TPF Recruitment is working with a prestigious Top 15 UK accountancy practice, seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join their expanding Not‑for‑Profit (NFP) audit team.
This specialist team works with a diverse range of clients including charities, higher education institutions and trade unions. You\’ll manage a varied portfolio, deliver high‑quality audits and play a key role in business development, sector networking and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver audits for NFP clients from planning to completion.
- Review statutory accounts under Charities SORP, Further and Higher Education SORP and FRS 102.
- Supervise and develop junior team members, conducting appraisals and providing technical guidance.
- Maintain and build strong client relationships.
- Support business development through tenders, events and article contributions.
- Oversee billing, staff resourcing and department recruitment.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified, with proven audit management experience in practice.
- Strong background in Not‑for‑Profit audits, ideally including higher education and charities.
- In‑depth knowledge of SORP requirements and FRS 102.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
