Job Description
TPF Recruitment is proud to be supporting a reputable and growing accountancy firm in Worthing in their search for an Audit RI to join their team in an Audit Manager capacity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced Audit professional who is currently a Responsible Individual (RI) or is looking to step into this level with support from a forward‑thinking firm. You will work closely with the partners and lead on a wide‑ranging portfolio of audit clients across both corporate and not‑for‑profit sectors.
About the Role:
- Take ownership of a varied audit portfolio, delivering high‑quality audit services to a mix of clients
- Oversee planning, fieldwork and completion of audits
- Lead, mentor and develop junior team members
- Liaise with clients to maintain strong working relationships and deliver a high level of service
- Ensure compliance with audit regulations and internal policies
- Use of CCH audit and accounts software (experience with CCH is preferred)
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Registered RI (or very close to achieving RI status)
- Strong experience in external audit, including corporate and not‑for‑profit clients
- Experience managing audits from planning through to completion
- Excellent communication, leadership and client‑facing skills
- Strong working knowledge of audit and accounting standards
