Audit Manager – Exciting Opportunity Through TPF Recruitment

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious professional to take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of clients and work closely with senior leadership to deliver first-class service.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Building strong relationships with client owners and directors
- Collaborating with Partners to manage client affairs from both an audit and commercial perspective
- Providing accountancy and commercial management support to clients
- Assessing audit risks and planning effectively
- Delivering statutory and non-statutory audits in compliance with International Audit Standards and UK law
- Producing accurate financial statements that meet statutory reporting requirements
- Participating in special projects, such as due diligence, investigations, and valuations
- Driving quality control and continuous improvement across audit processesLeading and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to proposals for new work and business development initiatives
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate with a strong combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and excellent client management abilities. You will need to be self‑motivated, flexible, and capable of applying your knowledge to deliver high‑quality results within deadlines. Commercial awareness and a practical, hands‑on approach are highly desirable, and previous experience in Transaction Support is advantageous.
Key skills and experience
- Strong technical accounting skills with varied statutory audit and accounts preparation experience
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and IFRS (US GAAP knowledge beneficial but not essential)
- Awareness of key corporate taxation planning issues
- Pragmatic approach with sound professional judgement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team with a positive, can‑do attitude
- Proven ability to supervise and develop junior staff
