Job Description
TPF Recruitment are currently working with a well-established and growing professional services firm seeking an experienced Audit RI. Our client is known for providing trusted, locally driven business advice to SMEs while fostering strong relationships and delivering forward-thinking solutions.
As an Audit RI, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial insights while ensuring regulatory compliance for their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Responsible Individual (RI) for audit assignments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead and manage audit teams, overseeing planning, execution, and finalization of audits in line with firm and professional standards.
- Ensure audits are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Provide strategic guidance on financial reporting and accountancy practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Support client retention and growth by identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Develop and execute strategies for client expansion, including cross-selling services, generating referrals, and networking within the business community.
- Monitor audit and accounts processes to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate any risks associated with client engagements.
- Manage, mentor, and train colleagues within the Audit & Accounts team, providing guidance on technical and professional development.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
- Audit Responsible Individual (RI) status.
- Proven experience in audit within a professional services firm.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards.
- Exceptional technical audit and accountancy knowledge.
- Excellent client relationship management and business development skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Benefits
- Salary circa £85,000 – £105,000 depending on experience.
