They are particularly recognized for working with clients facing complex issues, offering expert guidance and solutions to drive success.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\nRole Overview\\nAs an Audit Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of audit assignments, managing junior staff, and ensuring that audits are completed efficiently and in accordance with both client expectations and industry standards.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nPre-Assignment: Attend pre-assignment meetings with the audit team, assist in planning audits, and understand the objectives and budget of each assignment.\\n\\nDuring Assignment:\\nAllocate tasks to junior audit team members and provide guidance and on-the-job training.\\n\\nReview junior staff work and offer constructive feedback.\\n\\nEnsure that audit work is carried out according to the approved plan and budget.\\n\\nAdvise the manager of any developments that may require adjustments to the strategy.\\n\\nOffer logical solutions to challenges as they arise.\\n\\nPrepare detailed assignment memoranda, including analytical reviews.\\n\\nFollow up on outstanding queries with managers and partners.\\n\\nAddress client queries in a timely and professional manner, often engaging directly with senior management.\\n\\nProvide sound business advice and demonstrate a strong understanding of client needs.\\n\\nTrack time spent on assignments for billing purposes and future planning.\\n\\nPerson Specification\\nSkills, Experience & Qualifications\\n\\nACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.\\n\\nCommercial auditing experience, particularly with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).\\n\\nExperience in performing statutory audits and half-year review engagements, from planning through to completion, reporting to the manager and partner.\\n\\nProficiency in preparing financial statements in compliance with UK Auditing Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).\\n\\nFamiliarity with preparing cash flow statements and consolidated financial statements.\\n\\nExperience documenting and assessing internal controls, including preparing board reports.\\n\\nExperience training and supervising junior team members.\\n\\nProven experience in client liaison, from planning to audit completion, with a focus on providing value-added services.\\nIT Skills\\n\\nExcel: Intermediate\\n\\nKnowledge of ProAudit, Caseware Working Papers, and QuickBooks.\\n\\nMicrosoft Word: Intermediate\\n\\nAccess: Basic\\n\\nPowerPoint: Basic\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\nBenefits:\\n\\nLife assurance\\n\\nPermanent health insurance\\n\\nPrivate medical\\n\\nHybrid / flexible working\\n\\nEnhanced sick leave\\n\\nEnhanced annual leave\\n\\nSalary sacrifice options\\n\\nEnhanced pension matching contributions\\n\\nSeason ticket loan\\n\\nSabbaticals\\n\\nSecondments\\n\\nProfessional subscriptions\\n\\nDress down policy\\nPlease contact Luke Harrison on (phone number removed), Luke or via
