We are seeking a talented individual to join the Audit team in Southampton. As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for planning, performing, and completing the audit process for various assignments. You will ensure clients receive high‑quality service through effective resource management and coordination with relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with key client contacts.
- Provide efficient, proactive service to exceed client expectations.
- Identify issues and resolve them in collaboration with the client Partner or Director.
- Maintain awareness of the commercial aspects of clients\’ businesses and their impact on our work.
- Identify and highlight opportunities for the firm from work undertaken.
- Regularly discuss progress with clients, propose solutions to any challenges, and ensure reasonable expectations are met.
Requirements
- ACA, CA, ACCA qualification, or equivalent.
- Demonstrable audit and accounts experience in a professional services firm.
- Strong communication skills for both internal and client interactions.
- Experience in supervising and delegating work to others.
- Ability to motivate staff to achieve optimal performance.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Proactive cost monitoring against budget for individual clients.
Benefits
- Salary circa £50,000 – £55,000 per annum. Negotiable.
