A fantastic chartered accountancy practice based in Sittingbourne is searching for an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior to join their firm, as a key addition with increasing responsibility and career development on offer, as part of this successful team.
The role would include:
- Assisting with audits, including planning and field work.
- General bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Preparation of forecasts and reporting.
- Preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
- Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies
- Payroll preparation for weekly and monthly payrolls
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 12 months experience and studying towards ACCA or ACA
- A practical audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice
- A knowledge of various software packages
- Strong communication and team working skills
- Experience in direct contact with clients would be preferred
