Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join a fast growing and independent, certified chartered accountancy practice based in Croydon on a full time basis. You will be offered a progressive position where you will have the opportunity to enhance your career. The firm has a modern style and approach and a well-earned reputation as a leading advisor to SME owner managed businesses across the country. The practice provides clients with year-end accounts, tax compliance & advisory, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and payroll services. You will have the opportunity to get involved in all areas of accounting and take on as much responsibility as you feel comfortable with. They have a very relaxed, close-knit team.
Responsibilities
- managing a portfolio of clients, supporting them with a full range of accountancy services
- leading audits; managing the team of auditors whilst on the field
- supporting the Senior team with growing and managing the practice
- aligning yourself with the wider team, to strive towards a joint goal
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA Qualified, but Qualified by Experience may be considered too
- Have at least 5 years experience built in an accountancy practice, within audit and accounts, with managerial responsibilities
- You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, with the possibility to continue progressing into a more senior role
