TPF Recruitment are supporting a market leading regional firm of chartered accountants based in Tenterden in search of an experienced Audit & Accounts Partner Designate. This position suits an ambitious applicant aiming to achieve RI status and become a Director or Partner.
Responsibilities
- Manage and complete audits for small, medium and large companies and charities, including managing your own portfolio of independent examinations for charities, solicitors accounts, and tax work for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and personal tax return clients.
- Supervise a portfolio of audit and accounts clients and plan department work.
- Review accounts and provide advice for more complex clients.
- Manage members of the audit team carrying out audit and accounts.
- Apply relevant reporting standards, tax law and auditing standards while executing work within deadlines and to budget, and communicate effectively.
- Support team members and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Work with partners to manage client relationships, liaising with other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Regularly report to partners on workflow, work in progress, forthcoming deadlines and job costs; provide constructive feedback to the audit and accounts team.
- Assist in assessment, development and training of the team.
- Depending on experience, potentially support partners with marketing and development of the practice.
Requirements
- Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified with extensive experience gained within practice.
- RI qualified or aspire to achieve RI status.
- Completely conversant with all aspects of audit procedures.
- Experience supervising junior team members.
- Proven analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Salary: 60,000 β 85,000 dependent on experience and background (negotiable).
