TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a fantastic independent chartered accountancy practice based near Ramsgate, Kent. Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts & Tax Manager to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
This is a mixed tax & accounts position within a general practice capacity ideal for an experienced Accounts & Tax Manager looking to join a growing team with exceptional exposure on offer and genuine career prospects. The practice services clients who are wide-ranging in size, industry and sector, and you will therefore get exposure to a wide variety of client types and scope. Our client is offering fantastic progression prospects, flexible hours and a great remuneration package.
As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing your own portfolio of OMB clients
- Reviewing and preparing year-end accounts and corporation tax returns for Limited Companies, LLPs and Sole traders
- Handling VAT returns, payroll, and bookkeeping
- Reviewing and preparing & submitting self-assessments for directors and business owners
- Sending monthly profit & loss reports to selected clients
- Onboarding new clients and ensuring a smooth experience
- Managing and updating the practice’s systems and software
Requirements:
- Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience
- 5-10 years experience with recent accountancy practice experience
- Experience preparing accounts and tax returns
- Experience with Iris, QuickBooks, Xero or Sage would be advantageous but not essential
Benefits:
Circa £45,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience, background and qualifications - negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer. Our client will consider both full-time and part-time applicants.
