This independent, multi-sited firm of chartered accountants offers an excellent opportunity!
As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will collaborate with other managers and oversee a diverse client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will have the flexibility to manage your portfolio independently while working closely with a skilled team of managers and partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied client portfolio
- Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts
- Creating income and expenditure accounts for clients as needed
- Overseeing bookkeeping and organising accounting records
- Reviewing, preparing, and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing and submitting personal and corporate tax returns
- Providing outstanding client service by addressing queries and offering support
- Collaborating with senior management, including assisting Partners on projects
- Contributing to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and fostering relationships with potential clients
Requirements:
- You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years’ experience within practice
- You will have worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within a practice environment and have hands-on experience of accounts and tax returns
- Experience of general tax planning would be advantageous
- Open to part-time and full-time applicants

- Commission: New client bonus – 10% of first year’s fees for any clients brought into the business
