The firm is seeking a Client Manager to join their accomplished team, managing a diverse portfolio of accounts and tax clients. This firm works with an impressive range of high-profile businesses and high-net-worth individuals, including clients from the property, investment, and financial services sectors.
As an Accounts and Tax Manager, you will report directly to the partners and oversee a varied client portfolio consisting of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will have access to strong support from multiple partners, along with a team of junior accountants and bookkeepers to handle compliance tasks. Acting as the primary contact for your clients, you will deliver a comprehensive mix of compliance and advisory services. The role provides autonomy in managing your portfolio and opportunities to collaborate with expert tax advisors for complex advisory work. This position is ideal for professionals seeking a rewarding role with a company that values work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare annual statutory accounts, corporation tax, partnership tax, and personal tax returns.
- Handle monthly and quarterly accounts, including VAT returns.
- Manage client portfolios and maintain strong client relationships.
- Oversee and review the work from junior staff and bookkeepers.
- Onboard new clients and assist partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation tasks.
Requirements
- Qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience
- 5 + years experience in an accountancy practice
- Experience of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks
Benefits
- Β£55,000 β Β£65,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable

Requirements
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
