The Role
As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of clients and supporting the Partners with the continued growth of the firm.
Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and high net worth individuals
- Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- Overseeing personal tax compliance and advisory work
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice
- Managing, mentoring and reviewing work of junior staff
- Supporting with business development and identifying growth opportunities
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Strong background in general practice, covering both accounts and tax
- Experience managing your own client portfolio
- Confident reviewing work and supporting junior team members
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
- £45,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience and background, negotiable
