TPF Recruitment are representing a highly regarded and progressive firm of chartered accountants in Salisbury who are looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their expanding Accounts Business Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a varied role, managing a diverse client base, developing technical expertise, and building a long-term career within a supportive and ambitious practice.
Responsibilities
- Preparing annual financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, and trusts.
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing guidance where needed.
- Assisting with management accounts, VAT returns, and other business support services.
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, developing strong working relationships and responding to queries.
- Working closely with managers and partners to support more complex assignments and projects.
Requirements
- Is ACA/ACCA qualified (or studying towards qualification) or qualified by experience.
- Has previous experience in general practice, preparing statutory accounts and tax returns.
- Is confident using computerised accounting packages and cloud-based systems.
- Can demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commercial awareness.
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and supporting the development of junior colleagues.
- Is eager to progress their career within a forward-thinking firm that offers clear opportunities for advancement.
