Job Description
TPF Recruitment are supporting a leading accountancy practice in the GU area with an exciting opportunity to join their growing Accounts team.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering statutory accounts on behalf of the firm’s existing audit client base. The work will focus on the more complex side of accounting, including medium-sized FRS102 accounts, consolidations, and group structures.
This is not just a technical role. You will also contribute to designing and implementing procedures, supporting and training junior colleagues, and helping to establish a culture of quality and collaboration in this newly formed team. With ambitious growth plans, there will be scope to take on mentoring responsibilities as the department expands.
Requirements
What we’re looking for:

A qualified (or soon-to-be qualified) accountant – ACA / ACCA / CA / AAT – or qualified by experience, with a strong background in accounts or audit.

Experience in preparing audited accounts, ideally with exposure to FRS102 and group consolidations.

Familiarity with Caseware and CCH accounts preparation software is highly desirable.

Someone with an interest in complex accounting areas, coupled with the drive to contribute to building a new and thriving team.

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

A natural team player who enjoys supporting, guiding, and developing others.
