This is a Fantastic Accounts Manager opportunity where you will be offered excellent exposure whilst having the ability to maintain a strong work life balance. TPF Recruitment is supporting a fantastic independent firm of chartered accountants in Worthing who are looking for an Accounts Manager to join their successful team. You will work in a mixed audit, accounts and tax capacity, where roughly 20% – 25% of your position will be in audit. Our client is even open to training an
Accounts Senior or Manager, who may be interested in building a career in audit. Our client promotes a fantastic family culture and relaxed working environment, where you will predominately work your core hours and flexibility will be given, subject to your work commitments. All audits are within the local area. You will have lots of autonomy within your position and the business. The remit of audit and accounts work can be built around the candidate, dependent on their experience and aspirations. My client is open to candidates from recently qualified, all the way through to an experienced Manager.
You will be responsible for:

  • Provide accountancy and taxation advice and support to clients as necessary.
  • Conduct client meetings for the presentation of final draft accounts.
  • Manage and review the work of a team of part-qualified accountants.
  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the junior members of the team, and the client where necessary.
  • Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
  • Mentor the team β€” reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
  • Develop and expand the team’s skillset through development plans and training and support.
