Job Description
TPF Recruitment, Surrey\’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, are recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a highly reputable, and fantastic quality firm of chartered accountants, based in the Weybridge area.
You will be joining a fast growing and successful practice, where you will work in a general practice capacity within the accounts team. This position is being recruited as a consequence of growth and presents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress in their career. You will be offered exposure to complex, high value work, dealing with prestigious national and international clients. You will be given lots of autonomy, where you will have direct client contact and have the opportunity to oversee a small team too.
A large proportion of the position will be built around the candidate\’s experience/ aspirations but as an example you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for your own portfolio of clients, reporting to the Directors.
- Reviewing of accounts for your clients, including preparation of accounts, consolidations, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
- Acting as first point of call for clients.
- Supporting clients with outsourced Finance Director level services and complex corporate and personal tax planning.
Requirements
- Be ACA/ACCA, probably 4+ years post qualified.
- Have experience in a mid-tier firm where you have experience of clients that includes complex/ high value cases.
- Experience in international cases would be an asset but not necessarily a prerequisite.
- Report directly to the Directors.
- Be able to competently review complex accounts and accounting consolidation work to a high standard, ready for final director review.
- Be competent to run meetings with clients
- Have a good associated corporation tax/ VAT knowledge.
