TPF Recruitment are representing a highly respected and forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants in Salisbury who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant Manager into their growing Accounts & Business Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to step into a leadership role, taking ownership of client portfolios, developing their management skills, and building a long-term career within a supportive and progressive practice.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements across statutory accounts, partnerships, trusts, and sole traders.
- Manage your own client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact and building strong client relationships.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members, supporting their development.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver joined-up, value-added services.
Requirements
- Is ACA/ACCA qualified, or AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Has proven experience with cloud accounting software.
- Can work confidently both independently and as part of a wider team.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
- Is motivated, commercially aware, and committed to delivering high-quality work to deadlines.
- Is ambitious and keen to progress their career further within a leading accountancy firm.
Benefits
- Salary between £45,000 – £55,000 per annum depending on experience and qualification status, with regular reviews.
