Accounts Assistant

Due to ongoing growth within the company, they’re looking for an experienced accountancy practice Trainee / Semi Senior accountant to join their dynamic team and to assist the managers and directors.

The successful candidate will be required to complete end-to-end accounting tasks for a range of sole traders, ltd companies and partnerships across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT.

The Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior will be dealing with a wide range of work, including :

• Report to the Partners and Accounts Managers

• Assist Management in the preparation of accounts (sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts)

• Assist in the preparation of corporate and income tax computations

• Undertake ad hoc work as requested by management

• Liaise with clients as necessary

• For this fantastic Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior opportunity in Sidcup, you may be an AAT studying, and / or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT.

• You will have 1 – 3 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

• You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, at Accounts Trainee / Semi Senior level, within a growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development., You will be ACA / ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero / Quickbooks would be advantageous

• £25,000 – £30,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
