TPF Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Practice Accountant for an excellent accountancy practice in Tunbridge Wells. The firm has a fantastic reputation and strong staff retention, and we have successfully placed numerous candidates with the business over the years.
As a Senior Practice Accountant, you will primarily provide accounts and tax services to a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses. There is also the opportunity to learn and undertake a small amount of audit work, offering additional variety and the chance to broaden your experience.

Responsibilities
- Preparing statutory accounts for a range of owner managed businesses.
- Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting clients with their tax requirements.
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries and deliver a professional, responsive service.
- Working closely with colleagues to complete assignments accurately and within deadlines.
- Developing your audit experience through a small amount of audit work alongside your core accounts and tax responsibilities.
Requirements
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
- A strong background in accounts preparation and tax compliance.
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients.
- An organised approach and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- An interest in broadening your experience within a supportive team.
- Β£40,000 to Β£50,000, depending on experience.
