Part Time Customer Service Professional (Barriers) – Huddersfield. We are TransPennine Express and we are going places. Whether that’s helping customers reach their destination, or ensuring our colleagues feel fulfilled and supported in their careers. We are looking for people with drive and enthusiasm to join our amazing team and help push for more progress within the rail industry.
To our customers you will be the face of TransPennine Express, so we are looking for individuals who have a genuine passion for customer service and have a warm and welcoming manner. You enjoy engaging with people and have an appreciation of working in a cross-cultural and diverse environment. You are skilled in all aspects of customer service including handling difficult conversations. Due to the ticket revenue aspects of this role you must also be comfortable processing cash and card payments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with luggage and other assistance required to help them on their way.
- Provide train service information (train times, platform information).
- Assist with ticket checking and ticket selling and process cash and card payments.
- Work shifts that may include early starts, nights and weekends, in a cross-cultural and diverse environment.
- Ensure safe and efficient customer service at the station and on the train.
