The Tools, Data & Reporting Lead owns the single source of truth for all performance, delivery, and reporting across the account globally. This role is responsible for ensuring that our platform‑led model operates with absolute data integrity and disciplined tool usage. This role is foundational to enabling faster, more confident decision‑making and preparing the account for advanced automation by designing, implementing, and optimising the marketing data ecosystem for the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end‑to‑end data ecosystem, including databases, platform integrations, and agency feeds, ensuring accuracy and seamless functionality.
  • Own the master definitions for all KPIs and establish the universal standards for reporting across all disciplines.
  • Enforce rigorous platform and tooling discipline, preventing the use of shadow dashboards and local tooling.
  • Guarantee end‑to‑end data integrity, designing and overseeing QA processes for all data streams from capture to reporting, and ensuring the operational ecosystem is prepared for scaled automation.
  • Drive data acquisition strategies in collaboration with client and strategy teams, and ensure data is accessible and leveraged for impactful marketing insights and personalised experiences.
  • Establish and automate measurement frameworks and dashboards to track campaign performance, segment value migration, and customer loyalty in real‑time.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI and machine learning within our data ecosystem for enhanced personalisation, improved targeting, and predictive insights.

  • Marketing Technology Understanding: A deep understanding of marketing operations, martech and ad‑tech, analytics suites, and reporting tools on a complex multi‑market account.
  • Data & Platform Governance: Deep expertise in defining KPIs, establishing global reporting standards, and ensuring the disciplined use of enterprise‑level platforms and tools, with a strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Media & CX Data Literacy: Strong literacy in both media and Customer Experience (CX) data, with an unwavering focus on ensuring data integrity from end to end.
  • Strategic Data Application: The ability to move beyond data management to strategically apply data, identifying opportunities to enhance marketing effectiveness, drive revenue growth, and deliver better customer experiences.
