The Role

We are currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join an existing team based in Measham, overseeing logistics operations teams. You will be responsible for supervising on-site logistics operational teams, monitoring productivity and delivering to key targets and deadlines.

Experience

  • Proven experience in similar operational role delivering a service to client operations in a high-volume environment.
  • Proven management experience including experience of managing and maximising team performance.
  • Experience of recruitment and managing performance and attendance issues.
  • Experience of priority setting to deliver to SLA.
  • Experience of using technology data systems.
  • Experience of managing staff remotely (remote sites).
  • Experience of managing a technology-based environment.
  • A good understanding of warehousing, storage facilities and logistics.

Skills / Personal Attributes

  • Excellent organisational, communication and writing skills.
  • Computer literacy is essential including MS Word, Excel and e-mail.
  • Must be confident to make difficult decisions based on a number of criteria.
  • Organised and methodical, with an eye for detail.
  • Be flexible and have an adaptive approach to your work.
  • Can demonstrate a consistent and friendly approach, positive attitude and positive language.
  • Experienced in managing back-office teams.
