Overview: As a Business Director for Toyota, you will be the strategic lynchpin between our agency and one of the world's leading automotive brands. Reporting to the Client Lead, you will drive client success by fundamentally integrating AI-native strategies and augmented agentic teams into every facet of the Toyota account. This role is not just about managing an account; you will lead the charge in leveraging AI-powered insights, our DIPPAM (Discover, Ideate, Plan, Produce, Activate, Measure) workflow, and the WPP Open platform to deliver superior client outcomes, redefine service models, and ensure Toyota remains at the forefront of a highly competitive automotive landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and expand senior-level client relationships, serving as a trusted strategic advisor and partner to Toyota's marketing and brand teams.
- Lead the development and execution of client strategies that are inherently AI-driven, leveraging advanced analytics and AI-powered market intelligence to identify new opportunities and optimise Toyota's business objectives.
- Champion the seamless adoption and utilisation of AI-enhanced DIPPAM workflows across the Toyota portfolio, demonstrating how AI drives efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation across all stages.
- Take full ownership of account profitability, including forecasting revenue, managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the overall financial health and commercial viability of the Toyota account using AI-powered financial tools.
- Guide and inspire multidisciplinary POD teams to effectively collaborate with AI tools and augmented agentic teams, fostering a symbiotic relationship that maximises productivity and creative output.
- Identify and articulate new revenue streams and growth opportunities for Toyota by showcasing the transformative power of the agency's AI-native offerings and the Open platform.
- Stay relentlessly informed about advancements in AI, machine learning, and their impact on the automotive industry and consumer behaviour, proactively adapting strategies and advising Toyota on future-proofing their marketing efforts.
