About the Role: The Account Director/Campaign Director is a pivotal role within the Mosaic team, responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex, integrated marketing campaigns and fostering strong, strategic client relationships. This role elevates beyond day-to-day management, requiring you to act as a trusted advisor to clients, provide insightful strategic contributions and begin to lead and mentor junior members of the team. You will take ownership of significant workstreams, ensuring they are delivered flawlessly while actively identifying opportunities for client growth and operational improvement. Championing the full capabilities of WPP Open, you will be instrumental in delivering innovative, effective and seamlessly integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client's business, challenges and market landscape to provide proactive and insightful strategic recommendations.
- Confidently lead client meetings, present campaign ideas, plans and performance, and guide discussions to productive outcomes.
- Confidently leading projects and ensuring smooth and successful delivery from briefing, ideation, execution to campaign activation and measurement. Success is measured by demonstrable ownership of client relationships, evidenced by positive feedback, high retention and account growth.
- Effective communication, keeping clients informed, is essential. Proactive identification and resolution of challenges, ensuring smooth project execution and high client satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a positive mindset and approach to client projects. Providing strategic guidance and insights contributes significantly to the client's overall business success.
- Integrated Campaign Management & Delivery: Take full ownership of the end-to-end management of large-scale or multi-channel complex campaigns, from strategic brief to final delivery of assets, in-campaign performance, optimisation and analysis.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure seamless execution across all channels.
- Ensure all campaign outputs are of the highest quality, strategically potent and aligned with brand standards and performance in mind.
- Strategic Thinking: Think critically and analytically about client needs, business objectives and marketing challenges. Understand and champion creative solutions, understanding the broader market landscape, identifying opportunities and potential risks.
- Developing effective strategies, translating complex information into actionable plans, communicating vision effectively, adapting to changing circumstances, and ensuring creative integrity are also key.
- Comfortable discussing audience segmentation and targeting strategies with planners and clients.
- AI/WPP Open Integration: Champion the use of AI tools and drive integration of WPP Open. Proactively identifying and leveraging its capabilities to enhance campaign strategy, execution, campaign performance and effectiveness.
- Contribute to a dynamic and agile team environment that embraces technological advancements and cross-network collaboration to drive maximum impact.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in account management or project management within a creative or media agency, with a proven track record of managing large, multi-channel, integrated campaigns.
- Channel experience - successfully delivering creative through email, social, digital, radio, press - demonstrating best practice at each touchpoint.
- Demonstrable success in building and nurturing strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Solid strategic thinking, with the ability to translate client objectives into impactful briefs and campaign plans.
- Effective project management skills, including budget planning, timekeeping and working alongside a media performance team.
- Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of agency financials and profitability.
- A proactive, solution-oriented and independent approach to problem-solving.
