The Creative Resource Manager will support our team in ensuring effective allocation and the seamless flow of work through the creative department. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn about balancing commercial objectives with creative output within our evolving AI-native agency model. You will assist in facilitating requirements in-line with our evolved project workflows, contributing to efficient project delivery and optimal resource allocation. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency, supporting the creative team, and learning best practices in resource management within a dynamic agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Creative Operations with the allocation of work across the creative department, ensuring seamless communication.
- Develop proficiency in using our resource management software, Float, to allocate and manage briefs and learn about our resourcing processes.
- Support the Project Leads with team check-ins to monitor project progress.
- Participate in weekly resource meetings, gaining an understanding of capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Develop a basic understanding of creative skillsets and team members' strengths to aid in resource matching.
- Assist in planning future resource requirements and identifying potential gaps.
- Learn to identify and flag potential resource problems, supporting the Head of Creative Operations in finding solutions.
- Contribute to the review and refinement of current processes as the business evolves, with a focus on project delivery and AI powered integrated delivery.
- Support the accurate recording of utilisation and timesheets, and assist with managing the freelance tracker.
- Help prepare monthly utilisation and capacity reports for the Creative department.
- Collaborate with the client services and creative teams to ensure they have the necessary information, files and briefs to commence work.
- Work closely with Project Management, Production, and Client Services to help maintain smooth communication and up-to-date project statuses.
- Help facilitate ad hoc tasks on creative projects, including light-touch support for pitch work.
- Support with the recruitment and booking of freelance resource as needed, ensuring appropriate sign-off and budget adherence.
- Aid in the onboarding process for freelancers and new creative starters, liaising with IT, HR, and Finance.
- Help with the approval of creative freelance invoices, ensuring correct PO and Job numbers and timely processing.
