The Role
The Account Director will lead the day-to-day management and orchestration of a global brand identity workstream spanning four high-profile brands. Acting as the primary client partner for marketing stakeholders, you will be the central point of coordination across client, agency, and third-party teams. You will drive project governance, timelines, and delivery while fostering seamless collaboration between marketing, brand, and design teams. Crucially, you will champion the integration of AI-driven tools and agentic workflows to streamline brand identity processes, manage creative approvals, and communicate updates effectively across global and regional markets, ensuring momentum and brand consistency are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily management of the brand identity workstream across four high-profile brands, acting as the primary point of coordination for client, agency, and third-party stakeholders.
- Pioneer the integration of AI technologies, utilising WPP Open and AI-assisted workflows to optimise project management, streamline design feedback, and improve the overall efficiency of the creative review process.
- Drive project governance, timelines, and delivery, ensuring all decisions, feedback, and approvals are managed effectively and seamlessly throughout the programme.
- Partner with marketing, brand, and design teams to build trusted relationships, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and navigate competing priorities to maintain project momentum and achieve core objectives.
- Work closely with dedicated design resources and coordinate approval processes with internal Creative Leads to ensure all deliverables strictly meet brand requirements and visual guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with external platform partners to oversee the development and maintenance of brand management tools, ensuring all requirements, updates, and dependencies are thoroughly coordinated.
- Gather and understand nuanced regional needs, communicating crucial updates across the global account to ensure clarity and alignment among regional and market stakeholders.
