TP Tutors is seeking passionate and committed educators in the Dereham, Norfolk area who want to make a real difference in children's lives. You will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis, delivering high-quality English, Science and Maths sessions to support their academic progress, improve engagement, and build confidence. Many of the students we support receive tuition outside of mainstream school settings, providing a highly rewarding opportunity to create meaningful and lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions in English, Science and Maths.
- Support learners with SEND, SEMH, and additional needs using a child-centred approach.
- Implement effective behaviour strategies to maintain motivation and focus.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to guide next steps.
Requirements:
- Professional teaching qualifications preferred (QTS or equivalent) or 2 years of teaching experience, though experienced tutors are welcome to apply.
- Strong subject knowledge in English, Science and Maths.
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one support provided).
