About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support primary and secondary-aged pupils across Banbury and the surrounding areas. Working in partnership with local schools, tuition sessions will be delivered on a one-to-one basis in a range of settings, including:
- Pupils' homes
- School settings
- Local libraries

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition sessions.
- Support pupils in core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science where required.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual learning needs.
- Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with schools, parents/carers, and other professionals.
- Adhere to safeguarding and compliance requirements at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience within UK.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
- Experience teaching primary and/or secondary-aged pupils.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Access to reliable transport and willingness to travel within Banbury and surrounding areas.
Desirable Experience
- Previous tutoring experience.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, EHCPs, or those in alternative provision.
- Ability to teach across multiple key stages and subjects.
- Experience working with pupils who require additional educational support.
