We are looking for a dedicated tutor to provide
1:1 GCSE tuition to a student with SEN, supporting their academic progress, confidence, and exam preparation.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and personalised
1:1 GCSE tuition .
- Support the student in developing their subject knowledge and exam techniques.
- Adapt lessons to meet the student's individual learning and SEN needs.
- Build confidence and encourage positive engagement with learning.
- Use appropriate strategies to support the student's individual needs.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with the school and wider support team.
Requirements
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring students at
GCSE level .
- Previous
SEN experience is essential.
- Strong subject knowledge and relevant teaching/tutoring experience.
- Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
- QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications are desirable.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
