The Role
As the Account Director, you are a key strategic lead for the brand’s marketing initiatives for an integrated client with social‑first thinking. You will be a primary senior client contact, responsible for driving the brand’s cultural relevance and orchestrating the delivery of innovative creative campaigns. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of the luxury landscape and modern marketing dynamics. You will lead your team to execute flawlessly while championing the use of our AI‑powered platform, WPP Open, to deliver intelligent, data‑driven insights and content at scale.
Duration: 6‑month Fixed Term Contract with possibility to extend.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior day‑to‑day lead and trusted advisor for clients on all marketing strategies and activities.
- Lead the end‑to‑end management of integrated campaigns with social‑first and influencer thinking, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and are strategically aligned with the brand’s objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Client Service professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Oversee the financial health of the account, including accurate scoping, budget management, and forecasting to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with Strategy and Creative leads to develop inspiring creative briefs that lead to best‑in‑class, idea‑led work.
- Ensure the seamless integration of all campaign activities within the broader marketing mix, working closely with brand, media, and PR teams.
- Drive the strategic use of our intelligent operating system, WPP Open, for trend analysis, insight generation, and performance measurement to optimise campaigns in real‑time.
