Hgv Mechanic in Whittlesey

HGV Mechanic Our client is an established transport and logistics organisation with a large and varied commercial vehicle fleet. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced HGV / Trailer Mechanic to join their maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, maintenance and fault diagnosis across a range of HGVs and specialist trailers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanic to work within a supportive team while also having the opportunity to work independently. About you: * Experience carrying out mechanical repairs, servicing and fault diagnosis on commercial vehicles and/or trailers. * Able to work effectively to instructions, established procedures and agreed timescales. * Comfortable working under pressure and prioritising tasks effectively. * A reliable team player with the ability to work independently when required. * Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures. * Good verbal communication skills. * A positive and adaptable approach, with a willingness to develop existing skills and learn new ones. * Ideally, you will hold a relevant technical qualification at Level 2 or above, although demonstrable experience in HGV and trailer maintenance will also be considered.
