Role Overview: This role involves providing comprehensive Business Management support for the FX & Money Markets business. The role reports directly to the Global Broking Divisional COO and will be directly supporting the EMEA Head of FX & Money Markets. The successful candidate will work closely with the FX & Money Markets Senior Management Leadership team and the Global Broking COO, assisting in the day-to-day governance and strategic development of the business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Strategic/Commercial: Assist in strategically driving growth and profitability via new business areas, client channels and operational synergies whilst ensuring operation within TP ICAP’s control framework. Provide support to the Senior Managing Director(s) in the day to day running of the Asset Class. Assist in the development and execution of the FX & Money Markets strategy; work with the FX & Money Markets Senior Management Leadership team to validate new initiatives and agree prioritisation. Produce Strategy and Board papers in conjunction with COO EMEA, engaging with various functions for input.
  • External Relationships: Monitor performance of the FX & Money Markets asset class and strive to keep up to date with the global competitor landscape. Manage and cultivate relationships with key external stakeholders to secure and expand strategic opportunities and recurring revenue streams. Represent the business externally in relevant industry forums and working groups.
  • Infrastructure, Process, Regulation & Control: Ensure Business Execution compliance with internal and external Governance, Regulatory and Control requirements. Build and maintain effective relationships with Core Infrastructure, Front office and Senior Management. Partner with control functions i.e. Compliance to ensure Conflicts registers and other Regulatory requirements are up to date.

Experience / Competences:

  • Proven and demonstrated understanding of the financial markets, in particular FX & Money Markets.
  • Current or prior experience in a Business Management / COO role, including working with Product/ Technology on strategic priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a persuasive and passionate communicator with ability to influence and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook etc).
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
